Video captures and reconstructs images over time to represent moments in life. SMASH Video seeks to explore the uses of this time-based medium and capture moments in the lives of SMASH scholars. These moments will be reconstructed to depict the world as seen through the eyes of an underrepresented high school student.

SMASH Video producers will experiment with inexpensive video cameras and popular new media tools to create short videos about their experiences as SMASH students. These videos will be shared publicly on this site and other popular video sharing sites so that they can be viewed by the rest of the world.
